30 Day Batman Challenge
Day Ten: Favourite Batman writer?
Paul Dini, because TAS and Harleen Quinzel. This being said, as much as I loved the game I really hated the outcome of Arkham City.
Jeph Loeb gets a mention, because Hush, The Long Halloween (even though they’re kinda sorta interchangeable)
Grant Morrison was up until the point in Batman and Robin when Dick was explaining that Bruce used to make Jason dye his hair black because…dick. This…nope…didn’t happen dude.
ugh and Alan Moore…and I’m gonna shut up.
30 Day Batman Challenge
I am way behind on this
Day Nine: Favorite Batman artist?
And as much as I dislike a lot of what hes done with the DCU and my preference for the longer ears on the cowl I must mention Jim Lee.
I am really sad I couldn’t find a naked version of this cover that wasn’t cut.
This is the cover of Batman 619, the end of Hush story arc.
Day Eight: Favorite Robin?
Dick Grayson is Nightwing, not Robin anymore. He’s a god Robin, but hes better as Nightwing
Jason Todd was a brat and killed off for a reason. That being said, I very much loved the whole Red Hood thing.
I do love Damian, went into that a little bit already.
I’ve always found Tim Drake kind of boring.
Stephanie was Robin for like two issues and then killed…(but zomagazzz not dead!) Whatever, don’t care for her.
Carrie was kinda cool I guess…
Going with Damian…

Day Seven: Favorite Batman quote?
Gordon: Somebody…please…tell me what I’m doing here…
You’re doing what any sane man in your appalling circumstances would do.
You’re going mad.
Gordon: You. Oh no. I…I remember
Joker: Remember? Ohh, I wouldn’t do that! Remembering’s dangerous. I find the past such a worrying anxious place.
“The past tense,” I suppose you’d call it. HA HA HA.
Memory’s so treacherous. One moment you’re lost in a carnival of delights. With poignant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candy-floss…
The next, it leads you somewhere you don’t want to go…
…Somewhere dark and cold, filled with the damp, ambiguous shapes of things you’d hoped were forgotten.
Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes like children I suppose HAHA.
But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can’t face them we deny reason itself! Although why not? We aren’t contractually tied down to rationality!
There is no sanity clause!
So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember there’s always madness.
Madness is the emergency exit.
You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away…
Day Six: Least favorite Batman side kick?
I don’t really have an answer for this. I don’t really have a huge disliking/hate for any Batman sidkick. I guess maybe Huntress, because it always annoyed me that she tries way too hard to prove herself, but don’t dislike her by any means. Just calm the fuck down woman, do you, you’re good at what you do you do not have to push it.
“This is an alternate universe where Bruce Wayne died instead of his parents. Causing His father Thomas Wayne to become Batman and his mother Martha to go insane and become the Joker. “
Beautiful. Reblogging every time.
I din’t know about this
This is wonderful and beautiful and terribly sad.
This is from Flashpoint. Unfortunately its not all that awesome.
